Submit Your New Album to Signal Chain!
Albums are meant to be heard front to back. Let’s give yours the deep listen it deserves.
Google Form at the bottom of this page.
As a musician myself, I know the work that goes into making an album, the ideation, writing, recording, mixing, mastering, sequencing... And that's not even getting into the marketing side, that's why I want Signal Chain to help you.
Submitting your album is free, and you have a chance to get:
- Written Feature & Deep-Dive: A dedicated feature article on Signal Chain, unpacking your concept, sound design, track sequencing, and storytelling for our readers. See an example here.
- The Side A Sessions Selection: Selected featured projects are also added to our shortlist as the monthly pick for The Side A Sessions—our monthly coffee house meetup where music lovers spend a month living with a record and gathering to discuss it with prompted questions, and hopefully, artist Q&As.
- Artist Spotlight: Share your creative process, background, and stories with an engaged community of music lovers, local musicians, and scene supporters.
Submission Criteria:
- Cohesive Projects: Full-length LPs or substantial EPs (5+ tracks) designed to be experienced as a complete body of work.
- Local & Regional Focus: We prioritize artists based in or connected to the local ecosystem.
- All Genres Welcome: Indie, rock, electronic, jazz, hip-hop, acoustic, experimental, traditional fusion—if you put your heart into it, we want to hear it.
- AI Music Is Not Allowed: To keep the events and write-ups interesting for our readers and attendees, we have a strict no AI-Music policy, this means your album cannot have been entirely made with Suno, Udio or any other AI music generator services, and must feature real recordings, loops or samples.
- Complementary use of AI, such as art cover designs, or a track that has had AI-generated loops added to them, alongside real recordings will still be eligible for a write-up, but will see its chances of getting picked for the Side A Sessions reduced.
